Amrita Nahata, the producer of Kissa Kursi ka, had written a letter to the LK Advani, who was I&B minister during Janta Party regime. Mr Nahata had demanded a compensation of Rupees 1 Cror if I&B ministry was unable to give him back the print of the original version of Kissa Kursi ka. He went to court also but later he withdrew the case.
