Pablo Neruda द्वारा 1924 में लिखे कविता संग्रह [Veinte poemas de amor y una cancion desesperada] का अंगरेजी अनुवाद W. S. Merwin ने 1969 में Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair के रूप में किया| उसी अंगरेजी अनुवाद से यहाँ हिन्दी में कविता रूपांतरित के गयी है|
